Olaró
A pair of “sister” kiosks located in two historic areas of Lisbon: Prazeres Cemetery and the Portuguese Parliament. Their identity was developed as a shared visual language, reflecting the kiosk as a place for gathering, leisure and everyday life.
The name comes from “laró”, a distinctly Portuguese expression associated with a carefree way of spending time. It also references Amália Rodrigues’ song “Valentim”, connecting the name to Lisbon’s cultural heritage.
The visual identity reflects this relaxed character through a rounded and welcoming typeface, a warm colour palette inspired by Lisbon’s architecture, gardens and light, and illustrations based on the surroundings of each location.
